SMALL BUSINESS TRAINING SUPPORT/ COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

The Financial Services Authority requires employers working with most insurance products to have a training and competency regime in place. For small employers and those for whom insurance may be a secondary part of their business, this may be an onerous and expensive task. This may involve employing an individual to cover this area of regulation, or require a large amount of a senior staff member’s working time.
